AI Word Tutor: now at a permanent address
AI Word Tutor is now available at a permanent address. It is a personal project for returning to English through regular practice, word structure, and a vocabulary that connects to real use.
Ten years ago I taught myself English well enough to read simple texts, but without practice I gradually lost much of my vocabulary. That experience became the starting point: language learning should be deliberate and regular, not mechanical.
What is already available
The trainer helps collect and review words with spaced repetition (SRS). The idea is not to treat related words as an unconnected list, but to notice roots, prefixes, suffixes, and the relationships between words.
The vocabulary matters too: it is more useful to begin with words you will actually need in life, study, or work. That makes practice easier to sustain.
Open alpha and current limits
The service is now continuously available, but the infrastructure is still modest. Heavy load may cause slower responses, queues for AI operations, or brief outages. This is not a promise of a perfect service; it is a working alpha that I continue to improve.
If something does not work, please try again a little later. Feedback about issues is especially valuable at this stage.
What comes next
The plan includes topic-based vocabulary selection, deeper morphology, frequency information, collocations, dialogue exercises, and additional drills that move words from recognition into active use.
The goal
I want to build a clear, accessible English-learning tool rather than another catalogue of flashcards. Support will help strengthen the server, pay for APIs, and keep improving the product.
